die erste Konferenz weltweit zieht hochkarätige Vorträge an

Das jetzt veröffentlichte vorläufige Programm der International Oil and Gas CFD Conference (IOCC) enthält eine Reihe hochkarätiger Vorträge aus dem Bereich der Strömungssimulation (CFD Computational Fluid Dynamics). Die Veranstaltung wird in London am 30. November und 01. Dezember stattfinden. Neben zahlreichen Betreibern und Forschungseinrichtungen aus der weltweiten Öl- und Gasindustrie werden auch bekannte Firmen wie British Petroleum, Shell Global Solutions und Halliburton mit Vorträgen vertreten sein. Der Schwerpunkt der Präsentationen wird auf Anwendungen wie Abscheidung, Raffinerie-Modellierung, LNG- und CNG-Modellierung sowie der Modellierung von unterseeischen Strömungen liegen. Außerdem wird ein Überblick über den Stellenwert von Simulationen in der Öl- und Gasindustrie gegeben und neue industrielle Trends aufgezeigt, die sich durch die rasch wachsende Adaption von CFD ergeben.
Die IOCC wird an Bord der HQS Wellington stattfinden, die im Herzen von London bei Embankment auf der Themse permanent vor Anker liegt. Mehr als 120 Teilnehmer aus der Öl- und Gasindustrie werden zu der Veranstaltung erwartet, auf der 28 Präsentationen gehalten werden und in einer begleitenden Fachausstellung Lösungsanbieter ihre Produkte vorstellen. Als Abendprogramm wird ein Dinner im Restaurant “The Orangery” in Kensington Palace stattfinden.
